ENTENDENDO OS ESTILOS DE MÚSICA NO BRASIL

Este país é esquisito. Vejamos.

Sertanejo: 

Onde fica o 'sertão'? Não é no interior do nordeste? Então por que música sertaneja só tem cantor de São Paulo, Goiás e Mato Grosso?

Difícil entender, principalmente quando se é estrangeiro...

Música Sertaneja é aquela do interior do nordeste, do sertão nordestino. Também conhecida como Forró, Baião, etc. Seus instrumentos são basicamente: Sanfona ou Acordeão, Triângulo e Zabumba. Tudo, absolutamente TUDO que se usar além disso, é dispensável e descaracteriza o estilo de música. Teclados, guitarras e um bando de gente pelada parecendo galinha depenada não fazem parte do estilo mundialmente popular!

Caipira:

Jocosamente, o povo do interior das regiões sudeste e centro-oeste, conhecidos como caipiras, pelo sotaque arrastado sobre a letra R, e pelos costumes das fazendas agrícolas, a música também é caracterizada da mesma forma. Batizada pelas duplas antigas como Tonico e Tinoco, Alvarenga e Ranchinho, dentre outros criadores do estilo, a música caipira tem como instrumentos básicos a Viola e Violão base. Tudo, absolutamente TUDO que se usar além disso, é dispensável e descaracteriza o estilo de música. Portanto da próxima vez que ver uma dupla cantando aquela 'moda de viola', não os chamem de sertanejos. Afinal, você tá vendo alguém usando chapéu de couro e tocando zabumba?! Guitarras e orquestras não tem nada a ver com tradição, história e principalmente cultura mundial.

Música Afro-Brasileira (Axé)

Também conhecida como Axé Music (por que em inglês?!), a música típica afro-brasileira, divulgada diretamente da Bahia, onde a percussão é a base de tudo, como se fazia nas tribos africanas, e trazida pelos negros que foram escravizados pelos portugueses na colonização brasileira.

Mas, afinal... se é Axé, africana, usa tambores de percussão... por que parecem verdadeiras orquestras sinfônicas?! Podem falar o que for de Carlinhos Brown, mas ele traduziu bem o estilo de música e fez do Timbalada a raiz popular deste estilo.

Pagode:

Pagode era o que os negros na senzala faziam depois de um dia cansativo de trabalho forçado, com seus batuques envolventes e cantarolas de roda, que lembra nosso samba. As letras eram alegres, simples, repetitivas e de fácil memorização.

Portanto, quando aqueles famosos conjuntos vestidos com ternos super alinhados, de corte italiano e sapatos de couro alemão, cantando que foi traído mas que ainda a ama, surgirem na tela da sua TV, e algum apresentador disser que ele canta Pagode, ria da cara dele, da falta de cultura, da falta de informação, afinal os senhores de engenho que usavam roupas assim, e eram traídos pelas suas esposas com os escravos, não cantavam nem cantiga...

Funk:

Esse é o maior absurdo de todos!!!

A Funk Music, originária dos Estados Unidos, criada no final da década de 1960, pelos cantores e músicos negros, na sua maioria formados no Jazz, Soul, Bee Bop, R&B. Esses músicos, para tal, estudavam dioturnamente para tirar aquela nota musical perfeita (para quem não entende bem isso, assistam ao filme da vida de Ray Charles). O Funk era o momento de 'diversão' destes músicos, era o momento de dançar, de estravazar todo o sofrimento causado pela segregação racial. A dança era bem dinâmica, causando muito suor, dando origem ao nome 'Funk', pelo mal cheiro causado pelo suor (traduzindo: Funk quer dizer Fedor ou Mal-Cheiro).

Aos poucos, o ritmo se alternou, nos anos de 1970 acelerou, nos de 1980 diminuiu, mas a batida forte, analógico ou eletrônico, não alterou a qualidade e a sonoridade musical. As letras a princípio eram simples, de apelo festivo e de fácil memorização. Algumas conclamavam a comunidade negra a festejar as poucas conquistas dos negros, outras eram apenas de auto-promoção. Com o tempo, os assuntos se diversificaram, tornaram-se complexos e de cunho rotineiro dos americanos de forma geral, porém a sonoridade nunca mudou. O rap surgiu em seguida, entendendo a qualidade sonora desse estilo, se utilizando dos instrumentais quase jazzísticos para praticarem suas rimas.

Nos anos de 1990, o Funk Original passou por transformações, porém continuou sendo executado por músicos de primeira grandeza. Os artistas do R&B, notoriamente conhecidos pelos vocais perfeitos, de sonoridade ímpar, 'abraçaram' o estilo e continuaram lançando músicas dançantes e de garbo e bom-gosto. Nos anos 2000, não mudou muito, até os dias de hoje.

No Brasil, o Funk teve nomes importantes, mundialmente conhecidos, como Tim Maia, Gerson King Combo, Toni Tornado, Cláudio Zoli, Almir Ricardi, dentre outros. Nos anos de 1990 em diante, no 'embalo' das pistas que tocavam eletrofunk nos bailes cariocas, alguns DJs e pessoas comuns das favelas cariocas, remodelaram o estilo, se utilizando de samples e baterias eletrônicas. A principio era apenas isso, com vocais pouco expressivos, e letras banais. Com o tempo, a coisa piorou... Os instrumentais já nem lembraram mais os eletrofunks, os instrumentos musicais foram aposentados, os vocais deixaram de ser prioridade, as letras banais deixaram de existir para dar espaço a pornografia, bandidagem e desafinação. A mídia abraçou o nome Funk para o estilo, se esquecendo completamente de sua origem americana e mundial. Chamam tal barulho (que podemos chamar de 'Junk' = Lixo, em inglês) de Funk, deixando quem admira o estilo criado pelos músicos americanos de primeira grandeza, raivosos!

Música Brega e suas vertentes:

Nos anos de 1970, este estilo foi altamente difundido, com a massificação das mídias, que eram impedidas de tocar outros estilos, principalmente estrangeiros. As músicas que continham letras inteligentes eram proibidas, e seus artistas foram recolhidos pela polícia, alguns foram embora do país. Nos dias de hoje, o Brega e suas vertentes são, nada mais, nada menos, TUDO que é chamado de Sertanejo, Pagode, Axé, Forró, e MPB, que não se encaixam naquilo que foi descrito acima. Exemplo: Calipso, Calcinha Preta, Belo, Michel Teló, Thiaguinho, Leonardo, Bruno e Marrone, Daniela Mercury, Ivete Sangalo (sim!), dentre outros...

Rock:

Estilo de origem inglesa, abençoado pelos americanos e abraçado pelo mundo, no Brasil tiveram expoentes durante vários anos. Bandas como Camisa de Vênus, Ratos de Porão, além do mestre de todos eles Raul Seixas, fizeram do Rock nacional um orgulho durante anos! Algumas bandas mudaram seu estilo, misturando POP, Reggae e até Funk Original, além da mais pura e tenra MPB, tais como Paralamas do Sucesso, Titãs e Legião Urbana.

Nos últimos anos, o Rock Nacional agoniza. Fora da mídia, até pela falta de novos artistas de qualidade, lançou bandas como Fresno, NX Zero, Cine e os coloridos Restart, tentando pegar carona na falta de qualidade da música brasileira de forma geral. O Rock verdadeiro sobrevive pela mão de abnegados Capital Inicial e Titãs, além de bandas não-populares como Violeta de Outono, dentre muitos outros.

MPB:

Afinal, o que é MPB? Roberto Carlos? Cláudia Leitte? Caetano Veloso? Marisa Monte? Reginaldo Rossi? Marcelo Nova? Sim, todos! Afinal o nome diz: Música Popular Brasileira! Tudo que é popular, que seja de conhecimento público na música, é MPB. O que diferencia é a qualidade. Por isso se diz que Caetano, Gil, Gal, Bethânia e Chico Buarque são a cara da MPB. Pela qualidade sonora, pelo arranjo, pela poesia, pelo vocal qualificado. É a música que o mundo todo ouve, que mostra a cara lá fora.

Samba:

Samba é simples, não precisa muito. Instrumentos de percussão, cordas como violão e cavaquinho são suficientes. Isso é a base do verdadeiro e bom Samba! As letras fáceis, mas falando do cotidiano da comunidade, do amor e as alegrias vividas, sem ser apelativo. Ah! Isso sim é SAMBA! Como é bom ouvir Originais...

Simples de entender tudo isso, não é mesmo? Mas, estão tentando fazer sua cabeça... Pense, utilize pelo menos seus 6% que você conseguiu desenvolver do seu cérebro! Não se deixe enganar. Estão fazendo sua cabeça, 'socando' coisas para te fazer ficar cada dia mais burro!
